Do you want to work in an organization where structure, collaboration, and treatment-oriented work go hand in hand? We are now looking for a dedicated and secure employee for a parental leave substitute position as a therapist at Iris Development Center Hestra.
About the organization
Iris Development Center Hestra is a 24-hour care facility focused on comorbidity – harmful use/dependence combined with mental health issues and cognitive variations. Our work is based on evidence-based methods grounded in CBT and is carried out in close collaboration with social services, social psychiatry, the region, and other stakeholders. Here, you will meet an experienced and cohesive team with several professions and present leadership.
About the role
As a therapist, you play a central role in the organization, contributing to structure, coordination, and continuity in the work around clients. The role is both operational and treatment-oriented, involving close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize interventions around clients in daily life
- Plan, follow up, and contribute to structure in the client's process
- Conduct individual and group sessions
- Document and express yourself clearly in writing, such as in journals, summaries, and follow-ups
- Work in a team with several professionals
- Collaborate with social workers and other stakeholders, understanding their roles and assignments
Qualifications – we are looking for you who
- Have relevant work experience in treatment, support, or care services
- Have knowledge of addiction issues and CBT
- Are confident in conducting both individual and group sessions
- Have excellent writing skills
- Enjoy working in a team and have good collaboration skills
- Understand the role of social services as a stakeholder and have experience in collaboration
- Hold a valid B driver's license
